In Pidgin English, to "walkabaot" means to travel or wander. Vanuatu Aelan Walkabaot* is a non-commercial travel resource for the outer islands with real information and advice about accommodation, transport, places of interest and activities. Our aim is to promote low impact tourism that will contribute in a positive way to the lives of rural people in Vanuatu and encourage sound natural resource stewardship.

'Kula Trail

A new website for trekking Vanuatu.

'Kula Trail aims to develop a Malekula hiking trail system, improving the island as a destination for adventure travel and to increase environmental stewardship, cultural preservation, and local economies.

The Malekula Hiking Trail Project is run by a Peace Corps Volunteer on Malekula.
