Bae Luk Guesthouse, Meltungon, Ambrym Visitor Ratings

Bae Luk ('By-look') lives in Meltungon village and his guesthouse is in a lovely little garden with pineapples, bananas, breadfruit and other trees. It is frequented by tourists trekking across the volcanic ash plain via Meltungon.

Costs and Booking
Accommodation is 5000 Vt for two people. Bae Luk surely has a mobile phone but we do not know his number. Exchange rates.

Accommodation
Inside there are two single beds, a double bed and a little kitchen facility with gas. The windows and doors all have mosquito nets in good shape. There is no electricity.

Bae Luk Guesthouse has a shower and flush toilet.

Services, Suggestions and Transport
There is no shop in Meltungon and meals can be prepared by Bae Luk's family.

Meltungon village is about two hours walk from Craig Cove and they have a truck. See our Walking Ambrym page for information about the Meltungon route.
