PWMU Guesthouse, Ambrym
Visitor
Ratings
Most
visitors go to Lalinda for volcano trekking. Perhaps overlooked,
Lalinda also has a trail up nearby Tower Peak (999m above
sea level) which should be an enjoyable day hike. Lalinda
village has one guest house which belongs to the Presbyterian
Women's Mission Union. In July 2005 a new semi-modern PWMU
guesthouse with two bedrooms was nearing completion.

in July 2005 and you shouldn't need a mosquito net. A kerosene
lamp is provided for lighting. Lalinda has a spring water
supply which is OK for drinking.
The
guest house has its own squat pit toilet but no bathing
house. There are communal showers in the village or you
can swim in the sea. Bring your own towel, soap and toilet
paper.
