Sakao
island has superior beaches and makes a good day trip from
nearby Uluveo.
The Nombong Sakao Marine Conservation Area
is a new project and reportedly similar to the reef reserves
at Uluveo with coral, fish and giant clams. It's also nearby
a favoured yacht anchorage.
