The bungalows are now called Towoc Bungalows, but they're still run by Janeth and as a local experience they are superb. We wouldn't have wanted to see the New Year in anywhere else in the world. Great value with free access to Champagne Beach an additional bonus.

This is a really superb place to stay. Everything you need and nothing that you don't. The bungalows themselves are super-cute, tidy and comfortable, while Janet and Peter are great hosts. We were really sad to leave - it was our favourite place to stay in Vanuatu!

We did not stay at the Towoc bungalows as we had already booked at Lonnoc bungalows down the road, but had dinner twice and lunch once in the restaurant. Janeth was very friendly and welcoming, and a great cook. The bungalows looked tidy and well kept, and the garden/grounds were immaculate. The location is unbeatable, right next door to Champagne Beach which is every bit as amazing as I had read it would be. We would definitely consider staying at Towoc next time we visit Santo.

Janet was the best hostess we had during our stay in Vanuatu- she even welcomed us into the family home (next door to the bungalows) and showed us how to make traditional lap-lap for the Easter holidays! The bungalows are very nicely kept- the rooms are cleaned daily and fresh flowers were always in the vase. Although the accommodation is very simple the bungalows are super comfortable and the location is unbeatable! The meals were excellent- fresh fish or beef with rice and vegies each night- and even more amazing considering they were cooked with nothing more than torchlight! As there are only two bungalows it's probably worth calling ahead to check there is availability- but if you arrive & get stranded the family offers home-stay style accommoation next door!
