My husband and I stayed at Bethel in mid-June, 2008. It is a truly beautiful spot with fabulous trees and gardens. The meals were very generous, surroundings very neat and the owners were extremely friendly and happy to take us on outings or just stop and chat for ages, telling us about local culture, food, medicines etc.
There was even a washing machine and dryer - although they only work when the generator is running, for several hours per day. There are also hot showers and European toilets - a real plus!!
Bethel is a great place to chill out, especially if you like being amongst beautiful tropical trees and friendly locals.
