The people at Burumba were very friendly, especially given that I arrived with no advance notice. It's a lovely spot, and worth stopping at to break up the journey from Valesdir to Lamen Bay. Accomodation is 2000VT a night.

Buruma turned out to be the highlight of our entire stay on Epi. During our stay, we were well looked after by Alice (7790641) who showed us around, generously shared food with us and even accompanied us to Lamen Bay to ensure that we did not have to pay extra 'tourist dollars' to agents in Lamen bay. People in Buruma are amazingly sweet and nice, even though they are not very used to foreigners.

Sam and Ruth were our hosts and they were very hospitable. The facilities had everything we needed. The place was a great place to end our stay on EPI Island. The new contact number and host is now Tangat Kaviki Ph 7757969 Beryl Colley

We had the most fabulous time here in Barumba. A beautiful clean village with friendly people. You have to self cater food-wise as they are not used to many visitors, however staying here was the highlight of our 1 month in Vanuatu. Very reasonably priced, the room has a kitchen attached and is clean and dry. No bugs falling on you in the night here!
