Burumba Village is about halfway between Valesdir and Lamen Bay, on the west coast of Epi. The beach at is nice and you can snorkel here.

Accommodation at Burumba costs 1500 Vatu, for one or two people. Exchange Rates. You contact Tangant Kaviki on mobile 7757969 for bookings.

The guest house has two rooms and a kitchen. It is self-catering. There are three shops in the village where you can buy food.

From Valesdir airfield, it should be possible to find a truck to Burumba. Ask people on the plane and at the airstrip. The distance can be walked in 2 to 3 hours.

Sam and Ruth were our hosts and they were very hospitable. The facilities had everything we needed. The place was a great place to end our stay on EPI Island. The new contact number and host is now Tangat Kaviki Ph 7757969 Beryl Colley

We had the most fabulous time here in Barumba. A beautiful clean village with friendly people. You have to self cater food-wise as they are not used to many visitors, however staying here was the highlight of our 1 month in Vanuatu. Very reasonably priced, the room has a kitchen attached and is clean and dry. No bugs falling on you in the night here!
