Nikaura Marine Protected Area, Epi Island

Nikaura community declared a section of the reef south of the village a Marine Protected Area in the year 2000. By conserving the coral reef they hope to maintain food sources and the beauty of the area for future generations. Visitors can enjoy reef snorkelling here.

Nikaura Sunrise Bungalow is beside the MPA. It's a really quiet and secluded place.
