My husband and I had the opportunity to stay 1 night at Mark's and Myriam's place on Pelé : paradise on earth ! Flowers given by their daughter and a refreshing coconut drink made our arrival such a great welcome. You forget quickly the basic bungalow, the local bucket shower to just enjoy the beautiful white sand beach and the snorkelling. Mark was very nice to take us around the island to visit the 3 villages and talk to the local people : a great treat ! Do not hesitate to go and stay at Simoa Bungalow if you have the opportunity...

I could not have been more pleased with my stay in Pele with Mark and Miriam! Being a solo female traveller I was a little nervous about leaving port vila but I am so glad I did! I found paradise at Simoa Bungalows and Mark & Miriam made me feel so welcome. The service is great and friendly. Mark took me on a walking tour of the island and I met his grandfather and a friend of his. Miriam taught me to weave banana leaves. There was always hot coffee on the table when I woke up. The food was delicious and abundant. The beach is beautiful and the coral is very nice. Not many waves makes it perfect for snorkelling! Mark also took me out snorkelling to feed the fish with some bread and showed me a giant cam. Amazing! Before leaving, I was helped to plant a coconut that was becoming a tree. Mark said when I come back in 5 years I will be able to eat a coconut from my tree!! Choose this bungalow of you are looking for paradise on earth!

We stayed one night in Mark's and Miriam's bungalows in October 2012 with friends and our baby, one year aged. It was a very good surprise for us because the location was so peaceful. The end of the world... Just one paradise from where you can watch the sea and other islands tasting locals delicious meals prepared by Miriam and Mark. They were so nice with us that we would like to come back an another time.
