Eliezer
Travel Lodge is owned by Abraham, a retired teacher from Arep Secondary School. It is the first bungalow you pass when coming
from the airport, a little past the roundabout and then turn
left towards the beach.
Costs
and Booking
Eliezer Travel Lodge charges 2500 Vatu per person per night including
meals. Exchange Rates.
You can telephone Abraham on 7794403 (mobile), his wife Doreen on 7731601 (mobile) or his son Keith on 7785156 (mobile).
Accommodation
and Food
Eliezer Travel Lodge has one large bungalow with two rooms and two or three smaller bungalows with twin rooms. There are beds for 14 altogether.
The
bungalows are half concrete, half-bamboo
with Natangura Palm thatch roofs and locking doors (bring your own small padlock). The concrete
floor seems to stop fire ants. Mosquito nets are available in some bungalows. There is
electric lighting (generator at night) and some of the bungalows have solar lighting.
Kerosene lamps are available.
Eliezer
Travel Lodge has a modern toilet and shower but the water
pressure is usually not enough to take a shower (use buckets).
Soap, towels and toilet paper are provided.
Food
can be rather ordinary at Eliezer Travel Lodge, as elsewhere in Sola. Dinner is
typically rice, tin meat and local vegetables. Breafast is usually tea or 3-in-1 coffee mix and
bread or crackers. You can buy fresh bread in Sola.
