VanBirds website removed

I have now stopped maintaining the VanBirds website and have deleted all content from the server.

Maintenance of VanBirds was time-consuming and contributions have been few. With VanBirds, I hoped to encourage people to do some useful bird watching in Vanuatu and submit bird lists to the Vanuatu Bird Atlas project (mapping the distribution of birds in Vanuatu). I learned that there are not enough bird watchers to Vanuatu and that most international bird watchers are rather selfish.

Professionally, I will continue to privately maintain and develop the Vanuatu Bird Atlas project. I am still prepared to collaborate and share knowledge (at my discretion) with researchers to Vanuatu.

For bird watchers, I will upgrade the birdwatching information on the Vanuatu Aelan Walkabaot website.
