Images
To contribute images you can email them to us. If you can edit your images before sending, our requirements for bird photos are:
- Image: Size 440 x 330 (W x H), Resolution 72 dpi, Color Depth 24 bit, Format .jpg
- Text: Copyright symbol and photographer name, 20 pt Arial.
We would prefer you don't include the species name and/or other information on the image.

Tip: When taking photos of nests it's a good idea to place a scale by the nest.

Recordings
Recordings can be emailed to us. Preparation is more difficult than photos. If you can do it then our MP3 encoding settings are 64 kbps, Mono. We also like to have the following ID3v1 tags (browse some of the sounds on our site for examples):
- Title = Bird name + island
- Artist = (c) + Recorder
- Album
- Year

Bird lists
You can download our observer's guide and forms here. Save the Microsoft Excel and Word forms to your computer rather than open in your browser (right click and Save Target As... if you have to). The pdf forms are intended for printing out and completing by hand as an alternative to Excel or Word.
