Bird Species Accounts
We do not aim to replicate the field guides. In these species
accounts we emphasise conservation status and knowledge
gaps plus any field notes and information not in the field
guides. Not all of Vanuatu's birds are presented here. Our
priority is to present endemic and restricted range species,
threatened and near threatened birds, common species and
birds with images and/or recordings in our database. We
regularly review the species accounts. Contact
