Loru's "Narabul" Theatre Group Prepares for Coconut Crab Tour

Following a week long training programme provided by Wan Smol Bag Theatre, Narabul is now ready to make its first tour around Santo. The play they will preform looks at the future of the coconut crab and will be followed by workshops and discussion jointly facilitated by VPAI and LoPAC. The tour is expect to begin on 11 December and is being funded under the Pacific Initiative for the Environment (PIE).

VPAI and LoPAC Attend 7th Pacific Islands Conference on Nature Conservation and Protected Areas

Funded by the Netherlands Committee of IUCN, Roy Hills(VPAI) and Warakar Ser (LoPAC) attended this important regional conservation event in the Cook Islands. It was proved an excellent networking exercise and new relations have now been establsihed with projects in Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Cook Islands and New Caledonia.
